Create a hosted bot in the dashboard (Host your Bot) and note its slug. Everything below is public and callable from the browser — but only from the domains in the bot's Allowed domains (empty = any).

1. Config — name, colours, welcome message:

2. Session — pass a stable visitorid so returning visitors resume:

Returns sessiontoken.

3. Send — message up to 2,000 characters:

Returns assistantmessage.content. For word-by-word replies use POST /api/hosted/{slug}/send-stream/ — same body, same [SSE events](/dev-docs/chat-api) as the chat API.

4. Optional: POST …/feedback/ (sessiontoken, messageid, rating) and POST …/end-session/.

Managing hosted bots (owner, authenticated)

GET/POST /api/hosted-bots/, PATCH /api/hosted-bots/{id}/, POST …/{id}/toggle-active/, …/logo/, …/regenerate-token/, GET …/{id}/analytics/, …/sessions/.

Usage is billed to the bot owner's wallet, and the owner's per-bot limits apply (429 when hit).
